We've lived together as a 30 year team experiencing domestic, military and civilian helicopter rescue life. We began this journey in 1995 after a very special wedding and after completing basic military and flight training in the army.

Life then led to Parky flying the ubiquitous UH-1H 'Huey' in a number of aeromedical roles from the Australian outback to the jungles of Bougainville and East Timor. It also included a posting together on the US Army Black Hawk Instructor Pilot's course in Fort Rucker, Alabama and then, on return to Australia, flying in military, rescue and aeromedical-related roles in Australia and overseas.

The journey has involved extended periods with Seaworld, Careflight, Lifeflight, Boeing, Toll Aeromedical and experiences in various piloting, base manager, instructor and director safety/quality/human factor roles.

Parky, expertly supported by Kerri, has extensive experience in technical (pilot flight training in Australian and the US) Human Factors education, Safety Science and completed a PhD in aviation human factors in 2022. Parky also lectures for the University of Southern Queensland's Aviation Department, coordinates the Helicopter Safety Collaborative, and is a regular contributor to the Flight Safety Australia magazine and the yearly PACDEFF Human Factors Conference. He has speaks at various other conferences and symposiums.

He is most recently employed by the Humanity Factor Pty Ltd where, along with Kerri, they're passionate in combining PhD research with the pursuit of a truly human-based, human-empowered safety culture. Meanwhile Kerri ensures his already large head remains within acceptable proportions with her own special intelligence, strength and no BS attitude of authenticity.

We hope our efforts encourage your own pursuit of human excellence!
